An incomplete, high tin alloy (although, the pin, and spindle are iron), two-piece, post medieval shoe or knee buckle 1660-1720. The frame is silver grey, and the spindle, chape and pin are a dark rusty brown. The pin is broken but the base of the pin is still attached to the spindle. There are four moulded transverse collars on the outer edge of both loops, and bifid sides with knops around the spindle. The chape is stamped with the initials 'R V'. Whitehead (2003:96) describes similar buckles, which are dated to between 1660 and 1720, particularly no. 619 & 622.

A incomplete copper alloy, medieval, single loop, buckle 1230 - 1400. A D-shaped, single looped, grey green buckle that is missing the pin. There are three incised transverse grooves on the pin rest and lobed knops to either side. It has an oval frame and a narrowed offset strap bar (Whitehead 2003:17, 22).

A complete, medieval, copper alloy buckle with an integral plate AD.1200 - 1350. The frame is trapezoidal with the plate positioned in the centre of the shortest edge of the frame. The plate is divided into three sections. The first section is a small (2mm x 3mm) rectilinear shape with an integrally cast rivet.
