A complete, medieval, copper alloy buckle with an integral plate AD.1200 - 1350.
The frame is trapezoidal with the plate positioned in the centre of the shortest edge of the frame. The plate is divided into three sections. The first section is a small (2mm x 3mm) rectilinear shape with an integrally cast rivet. A incomplete copper alloy, medieval, single loop, buckle 1230 - 1400. A D-shaped, single looped, grey green buckle that is missing the pin. There are three incised transverse grooves on the pin rest and lobed knops to either side. It has an oval frame and a narrowed offset strap bar (Whitehead 2003:17, 22).
