A copper alloy seal matrix of medieval date, circa AD 1250-1450. The object is crudely shaped and inscribed. The matrix die is roughly circular and rises on the reverse to a hexagonally facetted conical handle. There is a loop on the top for suspension. The matrix die itself is quite worn and hard to discern; there is an image of a bird, possibly an eagle with wings outstretched. The design is quite stylised. Silver cuff link, consisting of two octagonal buttons joined by a silver wire link. The link is attached to the buttons by way of loops soldered to the backs of the buttons. The buttons are plain with a scored border line around the edges, enchancing the octagonal shape. The edges are folded over to form a concave inner face and a convex outer face. One button is shinier than the other and the shiney one has signs of wear in the form of two groups of parallel scratches in different directions. Very worn Henry VII silver penny, minted in Durham under Bishop Richard Fox. The obverse is particularly worn and very little of the design remains. It should show the king on a throne with one pillar. The reverse had fared slightly better in that half of the shield and the letter D to the left of it is just visible. To the right of the shield there should be a letter R, and there should be a mitre above the shield. Date range is 1489-1499. The coin is clipped and has a ragged edge to one side. 15mm diameter. Roman Wirral brooch. Copper alloy inlaid. It is 40mm long and 10mm wide at the widest point. hinged pin. The pin is missing as is the catch plate. At the head of the brooch is a trifold design with three panels of enamel. The centre one is red and either side are probably also red.
