Fragment of a post medieval lead cloth seal. Part of a four-disc seal, the remaining section is the two outer disks of the conjoined pairs joined by the rivet from the back of one disk running through a hole in the other. The discs appear plaina nd the design would probably have been on the inner discs. It measures 15.9mm long by 11.2mm wide, 6.4 mm thick excluding the tab and weighs 3.97g. See SOM-4AEAFC for a complete four-disc seal or similar form. Without the design it is not possibly to date this precisely but most are AD 1500-1800.

Body sherd from a small cup, bowl or jar with almost vertical sides. The fabric is mid orange with some fine quartz temper. The exterior is decorated with white slip interrupted by four turned parallel lines at the top and indented ovals with dignal scratches across them below. A yellow glaze over all appears brown on the inside and areas where the slip has been removed. This form of decoration is typical of South Somerset ware of the late 17th to 19th centurys altough the scratched ovals are slightly unusual.

A post-medieval cast lead powder measure cap, probably dating to the 17th century. The cap has been crushed, with one side flattened pressed in and towards the other. The top appears to have originally been almost circular in plan, however on the side that has been flattened, just less than half of the top surface has been sheared off, most probably by the plough. The remains of one attachment loop is present on the surviving part. On the flattened side of the cap a vertical casting seam is visible. An incomplete Post-Medieval lead cloth seal of of Augsburg, dating to the period c. AD 1500-1650. The surviving fragment consists a single disc (disc 1) of a two- or four-part cloth seal, with an integral rivet projecting from the reverse. A small part at the edge of the disc is folded over and this may be a remnant of the connecting strip (or of disc 2 in the case of a four-part seal). An incomplete Post Medieval lead alnage cloth seal. Originally forming part of a four-lobed seal, the surviving fragment consists of just two discs joined together: approximately 70 per cent of disc 3 and 90 per cent of disc 4. The breaks are old and probably caused by the plough. Disc 4 appears to have a tab extending a few millimetres from the edge opposite disc 3. At the other extremity, on disc 3, a remnant of the connecting strip that joined it to disc 2 survives and is slightly crumpled. Disc 3 is stamped with a design which, by comparison with similar seals, might be a thist…

A Medieval or Post-Medieval two- or four-disc lead cloth seal with a privy or merchants mark. The object consists of two disc fragments joined back to back. The fragment at the front is the larger one and is irregular in shape. It retains part of a stamped design but none of it's original edge, having breaks and wear on all sides. The design has a long vertical with a horizontal cross bar at the top, the rest of the top is lost to the breaks. At the base the vertical splits into two conjoined Xs . Half way down the vertical appears to be two short horizontals meeting shorter verticals…
