A heavily worn copper-alloy mount of Post-Medieval date. Description: Tripartite design with trefoil or scalloped shape designs on the ends. Each element is divided by two side knops at each side. Side knops have been worn and are now facing in slightly. Back is undecorated but has two integral facing prongs facing inwards. Mottled brown in colour with patches of darker green. Measurements: Length: 21.60 Width: 12.25 Height: 11.52 Thickness: 1.82 Discussion: Double pointed prongs have been suggested as horse-harness mounts (1 Noel Hume 1974)

A fragment of cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval spur frame, c. 17th century. Description: The fragment survives as the terminal end of the right side of a probable rowel spur, snapped towards the rowel attachment end. The outer face has a raised ridge centrally where the spur kinks upwards. There are incised lines forming a rounded triangle around each of the attachment holes. A copper alloy post-medieval acorn mount with two lugs on the reverse. Description: This post-medieval mount is styled in an acorn pattern as demonstrated by the incuse hatching in imitation of an acorn on the lower half. The upper half is smooth ending in a small knop at the end. The stem below the hatching design bends sharply to one side at an almost 90 degree angle. Hooked eye and tag toggle clasp dating from between 16th and 17th century. Description: This toggle clasp dates from the early post-medieval period.
