An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman flat enamelled disc brooch with peripheral lugs, dating to the period AD 100-200. The brooch measures 22.08mm in diameter, is 7.6mm thick and weighs 3.04g. Part of the rim is missing the remainder of the brooch survives. The disc is 1.7mm thick. Its is decorated with a vertical white enamelled section with a single central raised pellet. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative, hinged brooch, dating to the period AD 55-100. The brooch is 24.44mm in length and 28.85mm in width. It is 10.01mm thick and weighs 5.89g. The patina is relatively smooth, the colour is mostly dark brown. The lower bow with catchplate and part of the pin are missing. The wings are circular and house the spring mechanism. A complete iron medieval horseshoe (Type 4), dating to the period AD 1250-1550. The horseshoe measures 122.92mm in length and 111.87mm in width. It is 8.86mm thick and weighs 284.46g. It is heavily corroded and none of the nails remain. The horseshoe is D-shaped in section, being convex on the ground surface and flat on the foot surface. A bent gold post-medieval posy-ring, probably dating to the period AD 1729-1747. It measures 24.26mm in length and 13.14mm in width. It is 3.64mm thick and weighs 2.92g. The outside of the ring is not decorated and features some minor dents. On the inside of the ring can be found an inscription, which reads: Love and live Happy. The maker's mark reads GS in a rectangular incision. It is probably the maker's mark of the London goldsmith Giles Southam. Cf. British Museum: Posy ring with the Registration number AF.1297.
