A post-medieval lead-alloy whistle, dating to AD 1700-1900. The whistle measures 60.4mm in length and, being circular in cross section, between 14.32mm and 7.86mm in diameter. It weighs 19.84g. The patina is smooth with some damage in it, the colour is dark grey. The mouth of the whistle is 6mm in diameter. From there, the main body of the whistle gets wider as it goes up. Two body sherds of Roman New Forest fineware ceramic vessels dating to the period AD 260-410. One sherd is decorated and measures 48.48mm in length and 40.8mm in width, the other one 45.32mm in length and 40.36mm in width. The fabricis dark grey with a black slip. One of the sherds is decorated with an incised groove, which has an orange-tinted beige coloured border. On top of this is a decoration of the same colour, consisting of shapes resembling eights next to each other, the circles of the eights being incised.

Three rim sherds of a Roman Oxfordshire fineware ceramic vessels dating to the period AD 250-410. One sherd measures 59.24mm in length and 39.42mm in width, another one 57.36mm in length and 31.05mm in width and the smallest one 49.92mm in length and 26.84mm in width. They are 4.23mm thick and together they weigh 46.47g. The fabric has abundant orange inclusions and has a reduced grey fabric with an orangle slip.

A copper-alloy unidentified object of an uncertain date. The object is rectangular and rectangular in cross section, it measures 19.47mm in length and 26.21mm in width. It is 7.1mm thick and weighs 17.82g. The patina is rough, the colour dark green. On the front face the artefact is decorated with a central raised circular section flanked by four oval recesses. Below the raised circular section are two vertical parallel oval recesses, at the tip of either a second oval recess projects outwards at a 45 degree and 315 degree angle respectively. To the reverse the object is flat.

The weight is square, the sides are slightly concave. The obverse is decorated with five incised flowers, one in the middle with four in the corners around it. Each flower consists of eight petals. The reverse is undecorated but features two short deep scratches next to each other.

A post medieval copper-alloy trade token halfpenny of Thomas Shergold of Sarum, dating to AD 1666. THOMAS SHERGOLD OF SARVM obverse, depicting a central crown. HIS HALFE PENNY 1666 reverse, depicting the initials TS with three five-petalled flowers above with stems that create a curvilinear design between and beneath the initials. The token has a diameter of 20.43mm and weighs 1.43g. Five-petalled flower initial mark. Cf. Williamson p.1247 Wiltshire no.226. A similar trade token can be found on the database: WILT-1B44DE.

Two fragments of a medieval copper-alloy open type thimble or 'sewing ring', dating to the period AD 1400-1600. The thimble measures 26.19mm in length and 11.12mm in width. It is 13.91mm thick and weighs 5.08g. The thimble is decorated with four circumferential rows of circular incisions. Underneath this can be found a circumferential ridge. The fitting consists of three different sized triangular shaped sections, the middle one a bit wider than the top one but broadly similar in shape, the lower one being the smallest. An incomplete copper-alloy possibly early medieval strap end, dating to the period AD 750-1150. The strap end measures 56.11mm in length and 8.39mm in width. It is 4.33mm thick and weighs 4.26g. The patina is smooth, the colour is dark green. The terminal end is pointed. There are four circumferential incised grooves towards the attachmend end, which tapers outwards and ends in a break. The line of the break suggests that there used to be two rivet holes at that point.
