Copper alloy Early Medieval brooch c.450-550AD. The brooch is cruciform in shape and composed of a flat headplate with three protuding knops. On the front of the main body there is an incised transverse line. The main body is curved and has a tapered end. On the reverse is a partial lug for the pin to be attached. copper alloy bell pendent c.1300-1400.Bell pendent with long neck. Similar can be seen in Read(2001) number 465. The bell chamber is made from a piece of sheet metal and is folded to create space to hold the pea.The bell is complete with pea and has the fixing still attached at the end of the stem. The metal is mid-brown with green patina and is in good condition. Length 44.5mm Width 13.9mm Thickness 15.3mm Weight 7.4g
