An incomplete copper-alloy penannular brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43-350). This brooch is probably Fowler Type A3 and Mackreth Type k3.a or k3.b. The brooch is an incomplete sub-ovoid ring in plan and is sub-ovoid in section, which thins towards the centre of the 'C' shape and is widest at the terminals. Both terminals are undecorated and are sub-spherical knobs with a flattened side which faces the gap. A complete cast copper-alloy flanged axehead, dating from the Early to Middle Bronze Age (c.1400-1250 BC). This object is probably a Schmidt and Burgess Type Ulrome, No. 542 (1981: plate 43). The axehead is sub-rectangular in plan with a narrow, squared butt end which is wedge-shaped in section, tapering at the terminal. There are four individual flanges, on the front and back of the axehead and either side. An incomplete sleeve clasp from the Early Medieval period (c. AD 470-570), which is of Hines form B16. The sleeve clasp is made from a thin sheet of copper-alloy with no raised bar. A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel dated to the Medieval period, c. AD 1200 - 1400. It is a body sherd from a reduced Greenware vessel. The fabric is hard and light brown and grey in colour with multiple small spots of a green glaze on the outer surface, indicating that this surface was originally completely glazed. The fragment weighs 17.4g, and is 51.84mm long, 36.67mm wide and is 7.18mm thick. A similar example on the database, which was found within the same region as this object is YORYM-DFAA27.
