Complete silver buckle style finger ring of post-medieval to modern date (c. 1700 - 1900 AD). The band of the finger ring is wide and rectangular in section. The upper surface is decorated with a moulded floriate pattern of spiralling and circular fronds. A linear ridge stands out from the surface, crossing the band transversally and projecting slightly at either end. The band has been cut through one side of this, apparently deliberately, in a straight cut. Complete copper-alloy belt and buckle style finger ring of post-medieval date (c. 1600 - 1800 AD). The ring is of simple design: a wide and flat band with a moulded bezel in the shape of a D-shaped buckle. The inner face of the band is flat while the outer face is convex, giving the finger ring a D-shaped section. The finger ring has a rough brown surface with light green patches of copper-corrosion. It is 20.07mm in diameter and 1.35mm in thickness. The finger ring weighs 2.50g.
