An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch from the 1st Century AD, It is a Colchester type two-piece brooch. The pin is missing. The bow arches down from the head of the brooch, and narrows to a sharp point. On the reverse there is the base of the catch plate which is now missing. At the head of the brooch half of the spring remains, and the bow curves round to the top of the head, creating a circular attachment loop.
An example can be found in Hattatt, R., 2000, p297, Fig156 , No:1455.

An almost complete cast copper alloy post medieval hooked belt mount dating to the 17th Century. The mount is in the form of a moulded foliate design and has two integral pointed lugs on the reverse; one of which is bent. There is evidence of gilding to the edges and in places across the surface of the mount. The mount has a light green patina.
It measures 31.19mm long , 13.95 mm wide, 1.93 thick and weighs 3.89 g. Similar hooked mounts can be found in Read, B., 2001, Metal Artefacts of Antiquity, p29-37.

An incomplete cast lead alloy seal matrix from the Medieval period, AD1066- 1540. The matrix is circular with a diameter of 29.83mm. It is 3.83 mm thick and weighs 17.93g. There is a raised area at 12 o'clock on the edge of the object which suggests a missing connective accessory. The face is incised with a central motif of a fleur de lis surrounded by a circle. The legend radiates around edge of the seal matrix and reads: SIG.RIDG.X.The reverse is plain.
