A cast copper alloy harness pendant of the Roman period (AD 200-300). The pendant is flat with a sub-triangular body. There is a transverse suspension loop at the top which has a break in it to allow attachment to a harness. At the lower point is a transverse bar extending to two knops; this continues down to a a rounded terminal which projects above the front of the pendant. The face of the pendant is decorated with two lines which form a chevron at the base of the attachment loop with a similar design just below the rounded terminal. An incomplete silver ferrule from the Modern period (AD1887). The ferrule was probably intended for a stick or cane and was made from a single sheet of silver. It is rectangular in shape and has been folded over almost in half; at one end of the fold is a slight break in the metal.
