A medieval copper alloy single loop oval buckle and plate dating to the period AD c.1250- c.1400. The frame is oval with a narrowed and offset bar, and thin top and bottom edges which curve up slightly to meet the thick, almost cylindrical moulding of the outside edge. Each end of the outside edge is rounded and projects out from the sides of the buckle, and at the centre there is a notch for the pin. A possible lead post-medieval pendant (AD 1642-1651). The pendant is an oval shape, but with one flat end where a fragment is missing from the edge. The obverse may shos a stylised portrait of Charles I, with four evenly spaced rounded swellings placed around the edge, suggesting the pendant dates to the English Civil War and may have been worn to show Royal allegiance. A copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative, hinged, dolphin brooch dating to the period AD c.55- c.100. The brooch is made up of a short bar with a notch in the centre where the missing pin would have attached, and a longer curved bow that extends perpendicularly from this and tapers towards a very worn and bent section where the missing catchplate would have been. The bow is also decorated with incised lines which run along its length, and either side of a small triangular projection near the bar. Length 41.1mm; Width 25.9mm; Thickness 12.3mm; Weight 8g.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy double-looped oval buckle and pin, dating to the period AD c.1550- c.1650. The frame has a narrow bar with a lobed knop at each end from which the thicker edges of each loop extend. At the centre of each loop is a cherub head in between two small wings with a pellet either side. The pin is thick, and attaches to the bar by an open loop which tapers to a point that curves to one side. The back is flat and plain. A post medieval cloth seal, possibly a Dutch Colchester seal dating to the period AD c.1571- c.1799 due to its large diameter (Egan 1992, 3). The cloth seal is roughly circular, and consists of two discs rivetted together.
