Half of a cast copper-alloy buckle, similar to examples given on pg. 82 of Whitehead (2003), specifically number 511. Only half of the buckle survives, one of the loops being lost. The remaining section consists of the cross bar and the other loop. Details of mouldings can be seen on the loop, resembling foliate or feather-like patterns. Both ends of the crossbar are connected to rounded knops; all mounding is limited to a side that would have presumably been the front.
