A copper- alloy object of two interconnected pieces, possibly a belt hanger or other fastening/attachment device. The smaller piece consists of a loop of thick (2mm diameter) copper wire, circular in cross section, semi closed and threaded through the solid loop at the end of the larger piece. The larger piece is a loop of flattened metal, approximately 2mm thick and 6 mm in width, the opening 28 mm in length and the back part flattened. A silver shilling (North number 2231) coin of Charles I, the legend clipped. The initial mark (P) survives and indicates a date of 1643-1644 for minting. A copper-alloy coin, coin-like object, or token. it is circular, corroded and very thin, the edge being so brittle as to be sharp. One surface is pitted and it is difficult to tell if any topographical features are intentional or byproducts of the corrosion. The opposite surface is also corroded but has a discernible oval shape of two enclosures, one of a solid line and a slightly smaller beaded border within it. There appears to be a four digit number, starting with a 3, in the centre of this enclosure. Diameter:- 18mm Weight:- 1.2g

A copper alloy collar or short tube, possibly a ferrule or metal component of a larger object. The tube tapers from a diameter of 20mm to 15mm and is waisted in the middle, giving a pinched shape. The material is of roughtly 3mm thick at the larger end and 2mm at the smaller. Composition is evidenced through the green corrosion present over most surfaces of the tube.

An early post-medieval hook clasp, Class A (Read 2008) of copper alloy. The object consists of two separate pieces of copper alloy wire. The first formed into a hook; two eyelets of 9-10 mm in diameter taper into a folded over tail that is roughtly 33 mm in length. The second appears to be the receiving part of the fastener, and is now incomplete. The form is smilar to the hook but has a looser eyelet of 11mm diameter and an unbent loop length of 32 mm. Measurements for loop section are as follows:- 44mm Length 19mm Width 3mm Thickness 3.2g Weight.

An end piece, or ferrule, possibly from a Roman knife, the rest of the object no longer present.The terminal is cylindrical and expands to a bulbous head. four triangular openings sit equidistantly around the head, separated from the cylinder by a raised ring. The cylinder itself has four roughly triangular or teardrop shaped holes in it, with the mouth opening to a rough circle. There is longer any trace of the enamel mentioned in LIN-871E06 See PUBLIC-3EB630 and PUBLIC-5100EE for similar examples of openwork ends.

A copper-alloy plumb bob, probably post medieval. The bob is quadrilateral in silhouette and vaguley semicircular when viewed from the side. This convex side and flattened side are probably the allow sufficient weight for the bob not to vibrate too much yet also lay flush against the surface being measured. A hammered medieval coin of Edward III, quite badly worn and misshapen. The coin is possibly of pre-treaty series D-G or from the post treaty period (1352-1377 total range), but identification is difficult due to the stops being illegible. the coin is holed, but by what appears to be non-intentional processes within the ground. A sixpence of William III, dated 1697 and hammer struck in silver. Wiliam was a Stadtholder of the house of Orange and was invited by the English parliament in 1688 to become king of England, Scotland and Ireland. A loosely rectangular cast copper alloy button, very similar in design to LVPL-4B5D62 , LVPL-DA7AA3 , SWYOR-ED1E62 and NCL-D31631. Covered in a significant amount of verdigris and with former indented areas now empty. The underside of the button has the remains of an attachment loop, now broken and only residual. The upper side is marked out into raised rectilinear areas, a roughly square central enclosure being surrounded by four angular pieces. These would presumably have had enamel infil in the button's original state.

A copper-alloy object, possibly part of the decorative metalwork from a piece of furniture. The object appears to be cast and is roughly ovoid in shape with an attachment point at one extreme and a decorative fan shape at the other. The fan is supported between two organic curls, and a spike projects between them into the interior of the ovoid enclosure. Traces of what appear to be either gilding or a gold coloured paint are present on one of the curls.

A possible Roman strap end of the later Roman period (200-300 AD). The object is composed of iron and consists of an ovoid centre with projections on the Y axis. The upper projection is a rectangular loop with two thick parallel nubs above. The lower projection is demarcated at the top by three conjoined rings encircling the shaft. The projection terminates in a 'nail cleaning' bifurcation. The presence of the 'nail cleaning' end is common on Roman strap ends of this period, though few examples of this type have been recorded on the PAS database.

An incomplete copper alloy bow brooch of the Wirral type dating to the Roman period. The object is a hinged example. The upper bow is decorated with three vertical grooves. Each groove is empty but was possibly once filled with enamel as in LVPL-98299D. Above the panels is a raised bulb, and beyond that the projection tapers to a swan head like terminus. A bowl of pewter or some other soft white metal alloy. Distorted and crumpled but possibly circular in original form. The sides are plain but decorated with three equidistantly placed 'faces', either stylised human or leonine, that appear to be separate pieces of metal joined to the outer surface of the body. The lip is patterned with a reapeating bead or 'U' shaped design. The metal at the bottom of the body is thin and worn, and multiple holes and a crack are present. Indented areas along with the sunken areas of the design are all filled with possible white lead oxides.
