A broken and corroded post-Medieval to modern spoon handle of base metal alloy. The areas opf corrosion vary from a brown, rust-like substance to a pinkish white and friable dust, this example probably of pewter. The surviving part is the tongue or teardrop shaped upper end of the handle, the underside still bearing a legible stamp. The stamp is a crown or coronet with the letters 'WR' beneath in italics. A lead musket or pistol ball with an uneven appearance and two distinct nodules on the line of molding/casting. This is a smaller example, possibly for use in a pistol. The raised nodules could indicate it was unfinished or at least not refined, and had therefore not been used.
