An incomplete, cast copper alloy, post-medieval probably "shy cock" (c. 1600 - 1850). Flat backed, decorative casting of a small bird. Back and base plain, the bird sits on a small rounded mound, which has been lightly textured. Part of a small foot rest on this mound. Plain brested, with stylised tail feathers and one raised wing also with stylised plumage. The head is missing. There are no evidence that the object was attached to anything else, so it is likely that it was freestanding. The piece thickens towards what would have been the base, triangular in cross section across its length, and triangular across its width. A complete early medieval to medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, dating from AD c. 500 - 1100. The spindle whorl is crudely made, roughly circular in shape, with a flat upper surface, curved sides and a rounded lower surface or small flat lower surface - Walton-Rogers (2009) Form A1/2. The circular aperture has been set off centre. Both face are undecorated. Diameter 26.7mm, Thickness 8.4mm. Diameter of aperture 9.7mm. Weight 30.27g.

A complete, cast lead alloy, post medieval toggle, dating to c AD 1500 - c1800. The toggle is a possible dumb-bell type, with two mushroom shaped terminals either side of a narrow waist. One terminal is round with a flattened top, the other has a more pronounced shape, resulting in a triangular cross-section through it.This terminal is also larger than the other and may have been decorated. Length 14.7mm, width of smaller terminal 14.4mm, width of the second terminal 15.7mm. Thickness of waist 9.6mm. Weight 16.45g.

A group of five, cast lead alloy, post medieval musket balls. Three of similar sizes, with the other two slightly bigger. 1. Dia.14.6 mm, W. 16.73g. 2. Dia.14.5mm, W.20.78g. 3. Dia.15.1mm, 15.26g. 4. Dia.16.4mm, W.23.74g. 5. Dia. 18.6mm, 28.39g. Three (1, 2, 3) are almost spherical, apart from a slight flattening on one face, no casting seams or sprues visible. The fourth (4) is slightly more damaged, with possible sprue stump extant. Visible casting seam on the fifth musket ball, also has a lot of damage to one face.
