A copper alloy whistle of post medieval or early modern date (1650 - 1900) although probably 19th century.The whistle is hollow and tubular in cross-section. It is divided into three sections, a mouth-piece inset with a piece of shaped wood held in place with a small pin; a plain body section with a sound hole and a rounded end section decorated with a series of cast circumferential. A lead or tin-alloy object that appears to be a whistle and of probable post-Medieval date (c. 1600-c. 1800). The main body of the object is bottle shaped with a cylindrical neck and a short rounded body with an acorn shaped knop at the base. The upper cylindrical 'neck' is hollow inside and has a length of 17.9mm and an outer diameter of 14.9mm. On the inside of the object there is a solid 'floor' between the 'neck' and the 'flask' which gives the appearance that the 'flask' is solid. A lead alloy (pewter) whistle in the form of a pipe bowl, dating from c. 1750-1900 AD. The bowl is sub-conical with the remains of a pointed spur. The lower part of the bowl has a textured background comprising very small dots (like orange peel), on top of this are a series of larger relief moulded pellets. The upper part of the bowl is plain and the band between the textured lower section is made up of a scallop line above which is a single row of relief moulded pellets.
