Unidentified stone object of unknown date, but is probably a spindle whorl. The object has been made from a piece of very fine grained stone (possible siltstone or mudstone) and has been carefully shaped and into a sub-circular shape. At the centre is a circular perforation with an internal diameter of 5.2mm. The outer edges of the object have been deliberately smoothed. It is possible that this may have been used as a spindle whorl. Length: 34.4mm; width: 30.7mm; thickness: 7.3mm; weight: 11.19g.
