Silver shilling of Elizabeth I of the sixth issue dating to 1582/3-83, initial mark is a bell. Obverse has the worn bust of the queen facing left with the legend [ELIZAB] D G ANG [FR] ET [HIB REGINA]. Fragment from a pair of Post-Medieval copper alloy nut crackers likely dating to the later 18th century. The fragment consists of the upper part of one of originally two identical arms hinged together at the top. The hinge would have been held in pace with an axis bar which is now missing. The inside surface has four rows of triangular nicks designed to hold the nut securely. Lead-alloy spindle whorl, dating from the medieval period (AD1200-1500). The whorl is made up of a central bi-conical body with moulded decoration. The decoration on one side has a raised zigzag line creating triangular shapes, some of which contain pellets.The other side comprises a series of raised parallel bars from the central perforation to the outer rim of the whorl.The perforation has an internal diameter of 8.9mm. An incomplete, Colchester derivative, Polden Hill brooch (Mackreth 2011, Chap. 3, Part 3, Group 4.i, flat wing ends type) from 120-240 AD. In plan the brooch is almost T-shaped. The wings are semi-circular in cross section with a raised stop-ridge at either end. A cast copper alloy toy miniature canon of late Post-Medieval date (17th-19th century). These models were produced as complete working models of their larger counterparts. This toy cannon comprises a circular barrel that tapers from bulbous knop (cascabel button) at one end, to the muzzle at the other. The main body of the object is bottle shaped with a cylindrical neck and a short rounded body with an acorn shaped knop at the base.
