An incomplete copper alloy bell of probable Medieval date, c. AD 1250-1400. The bell consists of four sub-triangular petals of sheet metal which have been folded around to meet in the centre, forming a closed, sub-oval chamber with a circular aperture at the interstice between each petal. The fragment comprises of the incomplete upper of two hemispheres and rectangular loop, probably made using a detachable sprue-piece. The hemisphere is plain, with two sub-circular sound holes, one of which is incomplete. Dimensions: height 26.9mm; diameter 32.1mm; weight 11.50g. cf. numerous similar bells on the PAS database, Allan (1984: fig. 191, no. 139) publishes a similar bell excavated in Exeter, unfortunately an unstratified find.

A Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1350-1650. The frame comprises of two symmetrical oval loops, separated by a central bar. The bar is sub-rectangular in cross section and both loops are sub-oval. Traces of iron corrosion, probably from a lost iron pin, are present on the bar. The frame appears undecorated. The plate is very broadly piriform in plan, with a rounded base, which narrows into a waisted section before expanding into a trilobed terminal. A Medieval copper alloy buckle with integral forked spacer, probably dating to c. AD 1300-1450. The buckle frame has a single oval loop, with a D-shaped cross section. A Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy annular buckle with a central bar, probably dating to c. AD 1450-1600. The frame and bar are rectangualr in cross section, the outer edge of the frame is case into the form of a five-petaled rose. Dimensions: length 28.0mm; width 26.0mm; thickness 3.0mm; weight 5.71g. A similar buckle was excavated in Norwich in a context dated to AD 1561-1690 (Margeson 1993: 29, no. 157), however, they are often assumed to be earlier based on their decoration, cf. PUBLIC-655D05, HAMP-AD9215.
