An incomplete Iron Age to Roman copper alloy applied hook brooch, probably a variant of Mackreth's type 1.b. or 1.c., probably dating to c. AD 25-100. The brooch now comprises of the bow only, with the head, pin and catchplate lost to old breaks.
At the head of the brooch the bow survives to a width of 19.1mm and a thickness of 15.7mm, sub-rectangular in cross section. The reverse of the head features a short, transversely aligned rectangular projection. The nature of the pin mechanism is thus atypical and unclear. An incomplete Roman copper alloy hinged Colchester derivative developed T-shaped brooch, dating to c. AD 75-150. The surviving fragment comprises of the upper bow and left wing only, with the rest lost to old breaks. The head of the bow is incomplete, with the right wing lost in line with a central rectangualr slot cut into the rear of the head. A Roman copper alloy nummus of the House of Constantine, dating to AD 330-335 (Reece period 17). VRBS ROMA type, depciting a wolf and twins with two stars above. Mint of Trier. LRBC I, no. 65. The coin is struck on a notably eliptical flan, with the remains of a white metal coating only visible on the obverse and peirced at 3 o'clock. Such reuse could be either Roman or Early Medieval in date, in the absence of any finds from the latter period the former is suggested.

A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative hinged T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The brooch is almost complete, missing only its pin.
At the head of the brooch a pair of rolled, cylindrical wings survive intact to a width of 42.4mm, with a diameter of c. 8.7mm. These hold a probable iron axis bar in situ, with a rectangualr slot cut into the reverse to accomodate a hinged pin, now lost. the wings are divided into a series of 7 parallel, circumferencial ridges by incised grooves, and although abrasion makes the detail unclear in places some ridges at least are dec…
