A Post-Medieval copper alloy toilet artical-pendant, combining a tooth pick and ear scoop, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1900. The pendant is cast into the form of an oriental-style dragon, with scales, cast in low relief, running down the length of its body and with tendrils projecting back from its brow and upper lip, both terminating in a scrolled volute. An incomplete post-medieval silver toilet article-pendant, with a partial copper alloy core. The surviving section comprises of a sub-rectangular sectioned bar of silver which tapers and arcs downwards slightly into an old break at the terminal. The bar is hollow, worked into shape and brazed along a longitudinal seam visible on the lower face. Treasure case 2017T709; disclaimed, returned to finder. Description: An incomplete Post-Medieval silver toilet article-pendant, combining a toothpick/nail-leaner and ear scoop. The surviving fragment consists, broadly, of a rectangular sectioned bar of silver, forming the handle, with an integral attachment loop expanding centrally from one side. This was damaged subsequent to finding, and has been reattached by the finder using superglue.
