A Late Bronze Age copper alloy tanged chisel, probably dating to c. 1150-800 BC. The chisel survives complete, although the tang has been damaged, and is now bent at 45 degrees to the plane. The tang is rectangular in cross section, tapering to a point in profile and with a sub-rectangular end in plan, with the remains of casting seems running down either lateral face, particularly prominent at the interstice with the collar. An early-medieval copper-alloy strap-end of Thomas' Class E, Type 1, decorated in the Winchester Style, probably dating to c. 900-1100. The strap-end is tongue shaped, with a slightly pointed terminal. At the attachment end the strap-end bifurcates (splits) transversely, with two parallel cast projections to retain the strap, undecorated, but with a slightly recessed rectangular transverse band on the front, and three roughly equally spaced circular rivet holes; none of the rivets survive. A Roman copper alloy nail cleaner with a swollen blade of Eckardt and Crummy 2008, 122, probably dating to c. AD 75-250. The object consists of a flat blade, 0.8mm thick, in the form of a stylised leaf. With a transverse oval plate at its shoulders, 14.1mm thick, from the bottom of which projects a long, narrow sub-rectangular neck which bifurcates and terminates in a split end of two points, 3.9m wide.
