A Roman copper alloy barbaroous Radiate imitating a post-humous issue of Claudius II, probably dating to c. AD 275-285 (Reece Period 14). The coin appears to conflate the CONSECRATIO and PAX AVG reverse types, depicting a centrale female figure standing left, holding a long vertical sceptre and short branch, which is angled downwards.

A Roman copper alloy nail cleaner with a swollen blade of Eckardt and Crummy 2008, 122, probably dating to c. AD 75-250. The object consists of a flat blade, 0.8mm thick, in the form of a stylised leaf. With a transverse oval plate at its shoulders, 14.1mm thick, from the bottom of which projects a long, narrow sub-rectangular neck which bifurcates and terminates in a split end of two points, 3.9m wide. An assemblage of 101 base metal Roman nummi all dating to between AD 319 and AD 337, with at least 93 coins dating to AD 318-324 (Reece Period 16). This latter group is of almost uniformly excellent condition, with several fused together into small groups and others retaining traces of a silver wash. There are some exceptions which are notably more worn or incomplete, in a small minority of cases probably due to over cleaning subsequent to finding. A Roman copper alloy slide key, probably dating to c. AD 43-150. The key is largely complete, with only slight damage to one of the teeth. The key is 52.7mm long, conisting of a sub-rectangular shank terminating in a circular hoop at its apex, 13.5mm wide, the shank below the hoop is 11.8mm wide, narrowing to 5.9mm below the mid-point. In profile the shank tapers gradually from 9.0mm at the hoop, to 7.6mm at the terminal. Description: An incomplete silver object, in two parts, comprising of a repousse impressed heart-shaped foil surrounded by an incomplete beaded border, with an outer band of larger, flower-shaped bosses. This outer border is lost around much of the perimeter due to a break along the line of the border. The top edge is flat, with a further flower-shaped boss in the cusp between the two lobes of the heart, on the reverse of this top edge is the remains of a white metal solder. A Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead uniface token of Powell type 6, c. AD 1250-1800. The token is circular in plan, one face decorated with a design which is probably intended to depict a boat or ship. The design appears to have been impressed into the surface of the token, leaving an incuse sub-circular field within a bulbous border and with the design raised within. The reverse has a similar field, but which is left blank.
The unusual glossy surface is due to treatment applied by the finder.
