A copper alloy ring with hexagonal cross section and slightly uneven thickness and width of unknown date. The exterior edge of the object has a slightly hexagonal plan, with two straightened parallel edges, one of which corresponding with internal wear. The object is undecorated but has prominent striations from filing in some places.
Dimensions: length 30.4mm; width 28.9mm; thickness 3.1mm; weight 5.37g.

A copper alloy Ring, probably a strap fitting or suspension loop, but potentially also a bead, of probable Iron Age or Early Roman date, c. BC 800- AD 50. The ring is broadly biconical, with circumferencially flatened band around its outside edge, creating a rounded, sub-hexagonal cross section. This band is further decorated by a sieries of individually punched or pecked sub-circular pellets of irregular depth. The series is not continuous, and a section appears to have been worn away.
