A Roman copper alloy Sestertius of Hadrian (AD 117-138), dating to AD 132-134. FELICITATIA AVG COS III P P S C reverse type, depicting a galley rowed left over waves, with furled sail, steersman and rowers. RIC II, no. 706. The coin is approximately 35mm in diameter, and 3-4mm in thickness.

A highly abraded fragment of a Roman copper alloy colchester derivative brooch of uncertain type, probably dating to c. AD 43-150. The fragment comprises of the lower bow and catchplate, the latter being incomplete, with the upper bow, pin and head all missing. The bow terminates in a worn break at the top, with probably c. 60-70% of the bow surviving. At the break the bow is 7.2mm wide, but does not survive to its original width, slightly below this point, where the width is at its most complete, the bow is 7.3mm wide. A Roman copper alloy nummus of Constantius I or Constantine I, dating to AD 296-317 (Reece Period 15). Uncertain reverse type and mint. Traces of a white- or yellow-metal coating survive in some areas of the coin, Dr Sam Moorhead suggests that the former is more likely, with the discolouration probably caused by aggressive soil conditions.

A cast copper alloy Roman figurine, probably depicting Cupid, and dating to c. AD 43-410. The figurine is incomplete, missing below the knees and with both wings incomplete. The figurine is naked with its legs bent and knees thrust forward, probably in a flying pose, but resembling a squat. A Roman copper alloy finger ring of Guiraud's type 5 ('ring-key'), probably dating to c. AD 200-410. The hoop is D-shaped when seen from the side, with a flattened and slightly projecting rectangular bezel, of equal width to the hoop. The hoop is plano-convex in cross-section and undecorated. The ring consists of a narrow strip of copper alloy, 3.8mm wide and 2.0mm thick coiled around itself twice; sub-rectangular in cross-section and terminating in a worn break at one end tapering into a rounded point at the other. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative developed T-shaped hinged brooch, dating to c. AD 70-150. The surviving fragment comprises of the head and upper bow, with part of the wings, lower bow and pin all missing. At the head of the bow the wings survive to a width of 33.2mm, the left wing being incomplete. The wings are cylindrical, c.5.1mm in diameter, and hold the partial remains of a copper alloy axis bar in situ.
