A Late medieval inscribed gold finger ring. The ring consists of a plain band with beaded edges on the exterior face defining a slightly recessed central band. This is inscribed in black letter with the words de bon coer (of good heart), with the words alternating with engraved floral motifs. The surviving portion comprises of the terminal and partially surviving handle, with the bowl missing. The handle terminates in a flat circular knop, with no traces of engraved initials, below which expands a balluster surmounting a second, more highly abraded, but tapering baluster flanked by collars.
