The terminals are zoomorphic, depicting the heads of dogs, or snakes with closed mouths. In the centre of the strap fitting is a raised moulding consisting of two transverse collars flanked on either side by a group of three leaves. The frame is circular, and D-shaped in cross-section with a constriction for the pin 0.14 mm wide. The is no decoration on either face of the frame. Its back is flat. The pin has a incomplete loop around the frame and a circular collar, from which the pin extends 12.2 mm to where it tapers to a blunt point. The front of the buckle has bevelled edges but the back is flat. Overall, the buckle measures 27.4 mm long, 23.0 mm wide and 3.1 mm thick. It weighs 3.74 g. Similar buckles on the database, e.g. IOW-F105B5 and WMID-929A77, have been dated to the 14th to 17th century AD.
