A post-medieval tinned (or high tin content alloy) copper alloy spherical 'crotal' bell (1650-1850), complete with corroded iron pea within. It weighs 7.56g and measures 22.9mm in height and has an approximate diameter of 17.8mm. A rectangular loop projects 6.4mm from the top of the bell. There are two holes on the upper hemisphere, one in front and one behind the loop. An incomplete Neolithic (4000 - 2100 BC) polished flint axehead wih damage to the butt end and missing the cutting edge, probably from around half the original length of the axehead. The axehead is pointed-oval in cross-section and has been bifacially worked with polishing apparent on both faces and sides. Flakes appears to have been removed both on top of and beneath the polishing. Iron staining is apparent on the edges of flake removals. A copper alloy scabbard chape of probable Late Iron Age/ early Roman date (200 BC - AD 200), probably for a small or narrow blade due to its size. The object is broadly V-shaped with a bifurcated, solid terminal at the apex and a central perforation in the body, which is otherwise hollow with an oval cross-section. The open end is the widest part of the object. At either corner a pointed oval on its long edge and bent into a U-shape, projects upwards. An almost complete pipe tamper with seal matrix, dating to the post-medieval period (1600 - 1800). The matrix is slightly damaged with a small section at the edge now missing. The object is in the form of a signet ring (diameter approximately 19.1mm). The flat upper surface of the ring houses an oval bezel which forms the matrix. The image depicted on the matrix is a crude portrayal of a fleur-de-lis surrounded by a line flanking the edge of the matrix. A complete copper alloy miniature flanged axe, dating to the late Early/ early Middle Bronze Age (c.1750 - 1550 BC). The axe has expanding, straight sides, curving into the cutting edge. At this point there is a slight imitative stop ridge on both faces. The flanges are low (c.1mm high), extending from below the butt end and tapering out as the sides curve into the cutting edge. The butt end is narrow and thin (6.3x0.9mm) with a slight convex curve and possibly a small area of damage at one corner.
