Cast copper-alloy Roman razor or spatula handle dating from c. AD100 - 250. The item is anthropomorphic and takes the form of a bust of Minerva. The head is represented three-dimensionally with stylised features. The head is sub-ovoid with incised eye formed of two rings with dots in the centre. The mouth is represented by a linear groove. The hair and helmet are cast in moulded relief. The hair is shown below the rim of the Corinthian helmet (the top of which is missing), and is represented by short linear incisions.
