An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type (Mackreth Part 3, Group 4, flat wing ends type), c.f. Mackreth 2011, 4.l. Plate 48, dating (AD 80 toAD 120). The pin and catch plate are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The bow is broad, angular with a hump like head. Part of the rearward facing hook is missing at the rear. An incomplete, copper alloy mount in the form of a sitting bird, of probable Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The mount was probably part of a bucket or other vessel The mount consists of a moulded copper alloy sitting bird with a flat base. The underside of the base shows evidence of connection to another object, possibly an iron ring, as in similar examples. The head of the bird is tilted back from a curved neck. An unidentified copper alloy object of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). In plan, the main part of the object is shaped like a animal's claw, with the concave edge being sharpened. The top of the object is formed into a rectangular stub at right angles to the start of the claw shape. A late Post Medieval, double-sided lead casting, taken from a commemorative medal and possibly used as a weight or as a medallion. The object is circular in shape with decoration on both sides. The detail of the decoration is quite vague but has been made clearer through the identity of the original medal. As the detail is in relief, it is very probable that the object was cast directly from an original medal. This means that the detail displayed is a mirror image of the original. An incomplete, copper alloy bell of probable Medieval copper dating (AD100 to AD1500). The bell has a spherical sounding chamber with holes flanking two transverse slots. The bell terminates in an attached mount which at one time would have been longer, and pierced to allow fitting to a ring, as in similar examples. The pea inside the bell is still intact and the bell still sounds. The bell was probably used for hawking. The bell is 15.3mm in diameter, 17.9 mm tall and weighs 4.7g. Similar bells can be found on the database at CORN-EF2EB0 and LEIC-FB5012.

A complete blue and white annular glass bead of probable Early Medieval dating (5th to 7th Centuries AD). The bead has been made from an opaque blue glass, with translucent white glass trails as decoration on the surface. It is circular in plan. It has convex sides, with the ends flattened, almost an oblate form. Slight pitting and chipping is present on the surface. The decorative pattern consists of apparently random swirling lines. The central piercing is quite large (8.9mm) and slightly off-centre. The bead has a diameter of 20.27mm, and is 8.49mm thick. It weighs 4g.
