The object is sub-oval, with slightly flattened base and apex, and areas of pitting and multiple depressions. There is a single central perforation which runs through the object: at the apex of the object the perforation is a small sub-rectangular slit (c.6.16mm x 2.1mm); at the base of the object the perforation is spherical (c.5.54mm in diameter). There appears to be traces of whatever was inserted through the object visible at the circular basal perforation (iron?).

A complete gold walking cane ferrule dating from the late 19th century.
Description: The ferrule is made from thin sheet gold and has a stamped design in relief of foliate scrolls, with a thin plain border at each edge. A large central heraldic shield features an inscribed crest of a lion's head charged with a bend. The hallmark to the right of the shield shows the initials 'J.K.' and '18Ct'. The ferrule is sub-rectangular and appears to taper in slightly towards the base.

A base sherd from a Roman Central Gaulish Lezoux samian or terra sigillata ware plate or bowl, dating to AD160-200.
The sherd consists of most of the base of the vessel and the foot ring. The centre of the base rises into a cone with a maker's stamp GEN[I]TOR F impressed across the top of the cone at the centre of the interior of the vessel. The fragment has a pink fabric and is coated in a red (almost brown) slip on both the inside and outside.

Description: A complete silver vervel (hawk ring) dating to the post medieval period, c. AD 1550-1700
The vervel comprises the band, D-shaped section, with applied shield. The outer surface of the band is inscribed 'S WYLL MMALL' (Sir William Mallory). The flat-topped shield has a stylised horse's head inscribed onto the surface. The shield has been soldered at the point where the two ends of the ring join.
The vervel has a mid grey patina and is generally in very good condition.

The item comprises three broken bands of copper-alloy, wrapped and held together with a further short band. In addition there is a further broken section of a band.
The outer surface of the bands have a pressed Greek key (or meander) pattern with gilt inlay. The art-deco style pattern and decoration suggest the object is modern, possibly dating from the 1920s.

The object is broadly cruciform in shape, with three bulbous terminals or lobes and a clear break along the bottom edge. At the centre is what appears to be a rivet. It is not clear how much of the shape of the object is due to iron corrosion and thus what the true form would be.

A cast lead toy cannon with wheels, dating to the Post medieval period (c.AD1700-1850)
The object comprises two open-work wheels with eight (partial) spokes and a central 'hubcap', with the cannon fixed between the wheels at the apex. The muzzle of the cannon is more bulbous and with a small knob protruding from the 'mouth'. The opposing end protrudes from the wheels, and has been bent at a 90 degree angle. The base is broken away and missing, whilst the entire object is rather crushed and distorted.

The thimble is conical, tapering from 16.33 mm diameter at the base to 12.05mm at the top, The end is a shallow dome shape. The walls are slightly flared at the base, forming a narrow (about 1.3mm) rim.
