A complete, but broken, post-medieval silver finger ring, set with a large glass or rock crystal 'gem', dating to the late 18th century (c.AD1750-1800). The band of the finger ring is 'D' shape in section and thin. The applied composite bezel has broken away from the hoop. A complete copper-alloy buckle frame (but missing pin) dating to the early post-medieval period (AD1550-1650). The bucle is a 'double loop' or spectacle buckle frame with two semi-circular loops pinched in at each apex to give a shortened pin bar. The buckle has a plano-convex cross-section, as the back is flat.
