A cast copper alloy object possibly a ld from sort of vessel, post-medieval in date (c.AD1700-1900). The fragment is slightly convex and appears to have been circular when [more] complete. A complete, but broken, post-medieval silver finger ring, set with a large glass or rock crystal 'gem', dating to the late 18th century (c.AD1750-1800). The band of the finger ring is 'D' shape in section and thin. The applied composite bezel has broken away from the hoop. It has a plain reverse with traces of solder (where the hoop was attached),  and the edges of the collet are crimped and/or beaded. The object is sub-spherical and has a diameter of 55.6mm (2.1 inches), weight 660 (1lb 7oz).  This would place the object within the diameter range of the Falcon cannon. A complete copper-alloy buckle frame (but missing pin) dating to the early post-medieval period (AD1550-1650). The bucle is a 'double loop' or spectacle buckle frame with two semi-circular loops pinched in at each apex to give a shortened pin bar. The coin weight is for a Portuguese Moidore, equivalent to 27 shillings, c.1760-1773 (Withers and Withers 1995, p55). Comparable examples recorded on the PAS database include SUR-F4C784, WAW-76B295 and PUBLIC-3D43A1. However, the latter are more plain in appearance, and lack the decorative reverse. IOW-5B8C33, although for a quarter moidore, is closer in form.
