A complete copper alloy pin dating to 800-850. The head is polyhedral in form (a cuboid with the corners cut off), square in profile and in section and has thirteen faces. Below the head is a transverse collar. The shaft is circular in cross-section and measures 67mm in length. A punched ring-and-dot motif decorates all of the faces of the pin head. Dimensions: 67mm in length, diameter of head 7mm, diameter of shank 2mm tapering to point.

A late Iron Age or early Roman copper alloy Langton Down brooch. There is a cylindrical spring case without decoration. It has a flat strip bow, which on its display face bears longitudinal reeding in three groups of vertical strands. The stubs of a catch plate remain behind the lower bow. It has a reddish brown patina all over, with a few small areas of green, suggesting the start of corrosion.. Suggested date: Late Iron Age, circa AD20 - 50. Similar to NLM-873452.

An incomplete Roman, dolphin-type bow brooch. It appears to have had a hinged pin although both the spring and pin are missing, though the groove for the pin is present.. The foot of the bow and catch plate are missing. The bow is circular in cross section, but flattened on the underside near the wings. An incomplete Romano-British copper alloy dragonesque brooch, dated to 50-100 AD. The fragment is S-shaped in plan with an expanded waist. The waist is decorated with an oval boss containing what appears to be four curved wedges in reserve metal. The field surrounding this motif is recessed and probably once contained enamel. A Roman pottery fragment of a Samian ware bowl. It is the incomplete base of a shallow bowl. All that remains is small part of the pedestal foot and the body, with a slight curve forming the base of the bowl. The fabric is a light orange-pink colour with the slip being a dark orange-red. Evidence of it being wheel turned is on the base of the vessel. There is a feathered patterned band 21mm in from the base rim. Dimensions :Length - 74mm Width - 50mm Thickness -10mm Weight: 31.17g

An incomplete copper alloy bow style brooch dating to the Roman period (AD 75 - AD 105). The head of the brooch is T-shaped, comprising of two tubular wings one of which is broken and missing. The reverse of the head acts as a double lug hinge mechanism, which still retains the axis bar and the joint fixing for the pin. The bow extends centrally from the head, tapering in size towards the middle, before gradually widening again towards the flared foot.
