A collection of three flint secondary and tertiary bladelets of Mesolithic to early Neolithic date (c. 10,000 BC - 4000 BC). They are brownish grey in colour and semi-translucent at the edges. 1) The first bladelet is long and sub-rectangular in plan, with long sides that are almost parallel. Struck from a core of mottled dark to medium grey flint, a tertiary flake with none of the cortex being retained. An incomplete copper alloy strap end dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1300-1500). The object is a possible composite strap end, though the end where the spacer would be is now missing. The strap end is circular in plan with an oval, pointed, collared knop at the terminal. The main body of the strap end is flat and the face has some possible decoration though it is too corroded to accurately decipher. An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1350-1400). The buckle has a rounded knop with a collar at the base. From the knop the frame extends into an D-shape, with the bar slightly recessed from the frame. On the frame at either end of the bar are two indents indicating the terminals of the bar. The pin is no longer attached though a notch where it once sat on the bar is still apparent. The patina is smooth, dark green in colour, and has is no decoration. A fragment of a copper alloy vessel dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1000-1700). The fragment is part of the leg of a cooking vessel such as a small cauldron. The pot leg is sub-triangular in cross-section, with a slightly concave inner surface. The leg is rounded and flares into a hoof-like foot with three toes. The base of the foot is flat. A brown quartzite water rolled cobble possible polisher or rubber of unknown date, but the date range could be Iron Age to Medieval (c. 800 BC - AD 1000). A body sherd of grass or chaff tempered reduced ware pottery dating from the early Iron Age (c.700-350 BC). The sherd is a grey-black colour, the outside of the vessel has a light pinkish-orange layer. On the inside of the vessel the fabric is a slightly lighter brown colour.
