An incomplete copper-alloy dress hook of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1650. The dress hook is of Reads Class E, Type 3 being sub-circular in plan with a pico edge. The main plate comprises a solid domed boss bearing a classical style human bearded facing mask. A sub-rectangular attachment loop projects from one edge of the plate but the opposite hook is missing. There are 2 small socketed perforations fairly close to the rectangular attachment loop and one other small perforation towards the opposite edge.
