A copper alloy mount or fitting (possibly), incomplete, and potentially from a box/casket/harness of Medieval date (AD 1200-1400). It has a curved shaft 4-5mm wide, with a widening flattened end piece broken off halfway through a rivet hole. Length 29mm, width of flttened end 16mm, thickness of shaft 4mm, weight 6.1g.

Copper alloy strap fitting. Cast D-shaped loop with a collared sub-spherical knop opposite its shortest and straight side. An integrally cast rivet of length 3mm projects externally from that side, slightly bent. Suggested date: late Medieval, 1350-1400. Length 18.5mm, width 11.5mm, thickness 3.2mm, weight 1.16g.

Post Medieval copper alloy dagger scabbard chape dating to c. AD 1600-1700. This example is made from a plain copper alloy sheet, that has been folded into a flat conical shape; the edges have been overlapped then soldered. The sides taper towards the base of the chape where the sides angle sharply inwards producing a V-shaped terminal.

A small white lead pot mend, probably late roman to medieval. One side is roughly circular and convex, the other side is pear-shaped and flat. Between the two sides is a depression running around the artefact; this appears to contain fragments of pottery on one side. It could be from Roman to Medieval in date. Length 21.7mm, width 17.2mm, thickness 8.6mm, weight 14.5g.

A copper-ally elongated oval buckle frame missing central bar and pin. The obverse of the buckle is slightly convex and smooth surfaced. Conversely the reverse is slightly concave with about 15 small equally-spaced notches across the thickness of both loops of the frame. Unknown date. Probably post-medieval. Length 15mm, width 30mm, thickness 1.75mm, weight 1.87g.
