Incomplete alloy fragment of toy gun possibly from the stock incomplete stamped lettering including [..]PER, also below []p Shoot[]. There is a 0.78mm hole possibly where the bun would have hinged open to insert caps. On the reverse there is a hatched pattern & also strengthening struts. It is 39.1mm, 51mm, 7.5mm. Weight 34g

An irregular fragment of a Black Burnished pewter or lead alloy vessel. There is evidence of a raised moulded annular ring which would have gone around the vessel. The outside surface is smooth and greyish black, the inside is rough cast. All breaks appear to be historic. Height: 36.5mm width 48.4mm thickness 1.5mm Weight 8g

An incomplete copper alloy double looped buckle of post-medieval date. Only one loop is complete. The loops are oval in plan and have an expanded frame at the surviving end. The strap bar is narrowed and the pin is missing. There are 3 holes stamped through 1 at each end of the cross bar the other at the point opposite the cross bar. There is a serrated pattern around the outside edge. The object has a mid-greyish-green patina. Dimensions: 28mm in length, 24mm in width, 3mm thick, 4g in weight. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p55 which have been dated to AD1500-1650

An incomplete copper alloy Roman lock bolt, dating from AD 43 - 410. The bolt is rectangular in plan and in section and comprises a central rectangular openwork panel of 5 surviving almost circular holes with part of the 6th remaining. A narrowed rectangular tapering prong projects from one end of the central element. The bolt has a rough grey green patina. It is 39.8mm long, 11.6mm wide and 3.4mm thick.

An incomplete almost half of copper-alloy tweezers Roman in date c.AD 43 - 410.
Description: The head is formed into a central (broken) loop, the bevelled arms expand slightly towards the base. The bottom of the arm curves back inwards to form the jaws & the tip has been broken off in antiquity. The brooch is undecorated apart from a groove on top of the loop. The tweezers are a mottled grey-green in colour with patches of copper showing on the inside
Dimensions: 41mm in length, 5.5mm wide at the flared end, 1.24mm thick
These tweezers are of a fairly universal type

The foot and catchplate of a Roman Colchester dervative bow brooch 23.3mm in surviving length and 9.3mm in width. The bow is triangular in section. The catchplate is openwork and has an oval hole with a slot leading to an arrowhead shape hole. The bow is undecorated and 3.8mm in width.

A 17th century copper alloy trade token. A roughly square hole has been pieced from the obverse at a later stage to production. The hole diameter is 1.4 mm & is towards the edge of the token. Diameter 16mm thickness 1.4
On the obverse is the grocer's arms set within a solid circle. Around the edge the of the token is the legend CHRISTOPHER SCOTT with a 5 pointed star between SCOTT & CHRISTOPHER.
