A complete cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It is circular in plan and slightly plano-convex in section, with a rounded upper face and slightly dished back. The upper surface demonstrates copious remains of gilding, while at the apex of the pendant is a projecting suspension lug set at a plane of ninety degrees to the main body of the pendant itself. Preserved in fair condition with a coarse reddish brown patina, it measures 26.99mm long, 22.95mm wide at the midpoint of the pendant, and 6.45mm thick at the suspension lug. It weighs 4.48g. …

An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It takes the form of a six pointed flower in plan view, with a central circular body from which six leaf-lobed arms project. The vertical arms are notably thicker and longer than the others. The central body demonstrates moulded raised decoration presumably intended to represent the bud of the flower, around which the extensive remains of blue enamel inlay is visible.
