Approximately half of the plate originating from a strap clasp or possible buckle of Medieval date, c. 1250-1400. It is rectangular in plan, demonstrating two rivet holes at its rear edge and a single larger circular aperture towards its front edge, where it curves around before truncating abruptly in old damage. Preserved in poor condition with an even green patina, it measures 27.53mm long, 15.85mm wide and 1.31mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 2.85g. A similar plate is published by Egan (2007) see p. 95, no. 578.

Its upper surface demonstrates a stamp in the form of an eight pointed 'sunburst' like design, which itself partially obscures an earlier initial attempt of the same stamp. On the underside of the weight, the same stamp occurs a third time. Preserved in fair condition with an even brownish grey patina, it measures 27.36mm in diameter, 4.91mm thick at its midpoint, and weighs 26.96g.
