A copper-alloy possible middle/ late early-medieval finger-ring, probably dating to the period of 800 - 1100. It is oval in shape, measuring 22.79x21.81mm and weighing 4.02g. It is D-shaped in cross-section, being flat to the interior. The thickness of this artefact varies greatly, with the thickest part of the ring at the bezel measuring 4.76mm, tapering to 0.56mm thick at the back of the hoop, which is very worn. An incomplete Iron Age La Tène III Nauheim type brooch, dating to the period 100 BC- AD 100. It is incomplete insofar as the coil has broken and the pin is now missing. It measures 70.91mm in length and 11.37mm at maximum width. There are two coils in the spring, it loops twice over the front of the brooch, before curling back underneath itself and begins to curl upwards in a loop. An incomplete gilded copper-alloy Roman finger ring with a green glass intaglio setting, dating to the period AD 43-410. It has very thick gilding and under and between this the patina of the ring is quite rough, and dark blue-green in colour. The finger-ring is incomplete insofar as the back of the hoop has broken, possibly relatively recently as the break has not completely re-patinated. It has a broadly rectangular plate, measuring 18.64mm in width, 46.68mm in length and 3.53mm in thickness. Two ends of this rectangular plate have broken, with one across a counter-sunk rivet hole, measuring 7.19mm at the widest, tapering to 4.19mm inside. It is a Thomas Class B, Type 1, characterised by transverse mouldings and a possible zoomorphic terminal. The strap end measures 37.61mm in length and 8.62mm in width. An incomplete copper-alloy post-medieval (1500-1700) double-oval buckle frame, missing much of one loop and broken close to the narrowed central bar. It measures 23.07mm in length and 22.46mm in width. The pin curls around the bar and then extends 22.46mm in length and measures 3.39mm in width, before tapering to a point. A fragment of Middle to Late Bronze Age (c.1500-900 BC) copper-alloy spear. This fragment would have been the very tip of the spearhead, measuring 28.27mm in length and 15.39mm at maximum width. The fragment is lozenge-shaped in cross section and triangular in shape, tapering to a point. The midrib is prominent and tapers on either side to the edges, which are chamfered; the area of chamfering widens considerably towards the tip. The patina for this fragment is very smooth, and dark green in colour. In total, it weighs 7.13g.

A complete post medieval pipe tamper, dating to the period 1650-1850. The pipe tamper measures 35.05mm in length and 43.94mm in width. The tamper consists of what possibly is a scroll, clutched in a closed, most likely right hand, fist. The scroll measures 7.35mm in diameter, but tapers inwards before the clenched fist to 3.89mm in diameter. The fist and the curves of each knuckle are denoted by incised grooves, with the thumb a darker brown ridge on the right hand side of the fist. It is Williams Class A, Type 1 and sub-pentagonal in shape, measuring 47.66mm in length and 32.01mm at maximum width. An abraded body sherd of early post-medieval (1500-1700) colour-coated earthenware, an oxidised and sandy fabric with a bright-red colour-coating. The outside of the sherd has raised, smooth bumps, some of which appear to be curlicues while the others are sub-circular in shape. The sherd is triangular in shape, measuring 32.25mm in length and 34.61mm at maximum width, 5.38mm in thickness and weighing 4.69g.

A base and partial body sherd of Surrey Whiteware, dating to 1250-1450. The fabric is mostly smooth, with small stone (quartz and possibly flint) inclusions. The glaze is a speckled mid-dark green in colour and covers the outside surface of the base and walls although there is no evidence of glazing on the inside of the sherd. The base measures 52.68mm in diameter. The width of the sherd is 87.97mm, and has a height of 30.63mm. In total, the sherd weighs 68.53g.
