Description: Medieval gilded silver bar-mount. It has a central transversely set oval boss with brambled decoration in the form of punched annulets. The reverse of the boss is concave. A D-sectioned arm projects from either side, each terminating in an oval terminal. Each terminal has a central perforation, one of which retains a silver rivet with the ends burred over. Incomplete post medieval spur dating to the period c. AD 1600 - 1700. Only the neck remains. It is oval in cross-section and curves downwards, splitting into two projecting arms which form a central slot to house the missing rowel. Each arm terminates in a collared lobe. Each lobe is pierced and retains traces of iron corrosion from the rowel pin. The upper and lower face of the neck are both decorated with a aseries of slightly overlapping punched crescents.

Incomplete copper alloy candle holder dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1550. The cup is hexagonal in shape, slightly squashed out of shape, with a ridged collar just below the rim. Two opposed faces have a square slot above a rectangular slot with rounded corners. These slots would have allowed adjustment of the candle's height. Post medieval copper alloy crotal bell dating to the period c. AD 1550 - 1700. At the top is exhibits an integrally cast loop with a drilled hole for suspension. The upper hemisphere is decorated with an engraved "sunburst" design consisting of double petals radiating from around the suspension loop. It has two sound holes. The upper and lower hemispehere are divided by a circumferential ridge. The lower hemisphere exhibits an engraved "sunburst" design radiating from around the sound slit. Incomplete medieval single loop buckle with integrally cast forked spacer dating to the period c. AD 1250 - 1400. The oval loop has a bevelled outer edge. It is spearated from the spacer by a moulded vertical collar behind which is a drilled hole which houses the butt of the pin. The forked spacer divides just behind the pin and terminates in two old breaks. The surface retains traces of white metal coating. See: Egan & Pritchard, 2002, p. 78, no. 322 - 323.
