Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, double lug, Harlow brooch of Mackreth (2011) Type 2.e, dating to the period c. AD 43 - 100.
The sprung pin mechanism, the lower bow, foot and catchplate are missing.
The plain are C-shaped to house the spring. The exhibit traces of moulded longitudinal ridges and each terminates in an old break. Projecting forwards from the centre of the head is a D-shaped plate with two perforations, the lower for the axis bar, the upper for the chord. Incomplete medieval to post medieval leg from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, posnet or skillet dating to the period c. AD1300 - 1700. The leg has a worn break at the top. Broadly trapezoidal in cross-section, the leg is angled and expands at the bottom into a blunt trapezoidal foot.

Incomplete Late Saxon - medieval copper alloy key of Ward-Perkins' (1940) Type IB and Goodall's type 2, dating to the period c. AD 900 - 1150. Incomplete looped or circular bow tapering into a square shank, bored at the end. The rectangular bit projects on one side, terminating in old breaks around the edge.

Description: Incomplete silver finger-ring of medieval date. The hoop has been broken or cut across the width of the band. As a result, the remaining circumference has become slightly distorted. Triangular in cross-section, with a central arris running around the outer circumference. On either side of the arris is a worn inscription in Lombardic lettering, on one side commencing: + IESVS NAZARENVS, on the other face ending: + REX IVDEORVM. Description: Fragment of post-medieval silver bodkin (head-dress pin), with an old break at either end. Both ends have a U-shaped notch (probably part of a circular hole) followed by an engraved double line forming a collar, flanking a central rectangular aperture. Each wide face is engraved with a symmetrical pattern of five pairs of diagonal lines on either side of the central aperture, at different angles on each side, running up to an engraved vertical line forming an outer border.
