A sherd of a ceramic Vessel of Roman date (AD 43-200). The sherd is probable of Gaulish Samian ware. This example is probably from vessel of Dragendorff 18-31, a bowl or dish. The rim sherd has a small projecting rolled lip. The body has repeating concentric circular grooves around the outer surface. The fabric is grey in colour with no visible inclusions.
