An incomplete lead non-heraldic personal Seal Matrix of Medieval date (AD 1200-1350). The matrix is flat and circular in plan and with. The matrix has a retained lug at the top of a raised ridge on the reverse. The lug has a single circular perforation. On the front face is an engraved with a six regular rays arranged radially. The transvers axis has a single diagonal line running from its, upper left and lower right. This is surrounded by a legend within a circular inner border, which runs retrograde (anti-clockwise) around the matrix. It read +S'ROBERTH FIL [??]S. This translates as…

On the front face is an engraved with a six regular rays arranged radially with numerous diagonal lines arranged to either side of each of the main arms. This is surrounded by a legend which starts at twelve o'clock and runs retrograde (anti-clockwise) around the matrix. It read +S'WALTER FI' GILBERTI. This translates as 'Seal of Walter son of Gilbert.

A complete copper alloy Seal Matrix of Medieval date (AD 1200-1500). The object is conical in form. The handle is hexagonal in cross-section with a trefoil-shaped suspension loop (9.9mm wide and 5.1mm thick) above a trio of narrow concentric ribs. The suspension loop has a circular perforation.
At the opposite end of the handle is an ovate matrix. The lower face is engraved with a central motif composed of the draped figure of St Margaret facing with vertical palm frond left and sceptre right, a symbol of her martyrdom and bursting out of a dragon below. Around the centr…
