A compleat Early Medieval silver Continental Sceat, series E and minted in Frisia (c. 695-700). The type is known as a VICO, Variety B, so named from the letters on the reverse (Abramson 2006). Obverse: Shows a quilled crescent curving right enclosing four bars, no inscription. Reverse: Central annulet within a pelleted linear border. Incription: VICO. The obverse surface appears to be abraded.

Incomplete Cast copper alloy Late Iron Age - Roman mount in the form of a dolphin, possibly a vessel mount 100BC-AD.200. The mount comprises a triangular plate surmounted by a three dimensional 'Dolphin' head. The triangular plate has a convex outer surface and has a double collar at the broad end. The point of the triangle is pointed downwards. On the rear of the plate there is a short circular stud rivet to allow its attachment to the vessel. A worn but complete cast copper-alloy Iron Age Flat Linear potin of the Cantiaci, c.115-100 BC, of Holman type B2/2-1 (D. Holman, pers. comm.). The obverse depicts a stylised head of Apollo left. The reverse has a bull butting right with exergual line below, two(?) crescents above. The remains of a casting sprue are visible on one edge, and there is a circular perforation towards the base of the potin when viewed from the obverse, which is likely to be the result of manufacture or the casting process although a deliberate and later perforation cannot be ruled out entirely.
