A medieval copper-alloy harness pendant retaining a copper-alloy axis bar in its suspension loop. The main plate is small and broadly square, tending towards rectangular, with a long integral suspension loop emerging from the centre of its top. Incomplete 18th century silvered spur, dating 1700-1800AD. The spur is incomplete, but one side of the yoke is complete with the fittings still attached, while the other side is broken close to the neck. The neck itself is is complete, although there is corrosion at the point where the rowel would have sat. Part of the rowel seems to be in place, although it is badly corroded. Complete copper-alloy pommel from a roundel (rondel) dagger of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1600.
It is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section, with a central, circular perforation on either side that does not go all the way through. The pommel has 16 radiating points with regularly spaced deep grooves between them.
Roundel daggers were long thin daggers with there round, 'starburst' pommels. They are in use from the mid 14th century until the 16th (Ward Perkins 1940, pg 42).

The chamber is circular and the overall shape is conical. It is decorated with horizontal ridges throughout. The main body of the chamber also has two squared perforations directly opposite each other.

Complete Post-Medieval hook tag in the shape of a scallop shell, probably dating between AD 1600-1700. There are three integral attachment loops, one on each side of the fitting and one in the centre of the opposite end, and a rectangular loop to take the opposing hook. The underside of the body is concave, and the upper side is decorated with radiating grooves to resemble a scallop shell. Read no.659, Early post Medieval Class A Type 7.

Incomplete copper alloy and glass jewelled handle, Post Medieval, AD1500-1800. The handle had a glass jewel at one end that is imbedded into the metal handle itself. The jewel is broken in situ. The metal handle itself may have been for a draw or small box such as a tobacco box. The glass jewel is set in the handle, at the widest point. After this setting the handle becomes narrower as it moves into the stem of the object. At the far end the handle show corrosion around a point, suggesting that it was attached to something, possibly via an iron rivet.
