A complete cast copper-alloy toggle clasp. It has a tapering form with a curvilinear outline. The wider end is straight and the tapered end is rounded into a raised, domed knop. The object is plano-convex in cross section. At the mid point there is openwork decoration in the form of a central circular aperture flanked by three small decorative 'wings' on each side. An incomplete copper alloy book fitting. The fitting was originally rectangular in shape, but has been folded in half. It is parallel sided with a narrowed hooked projection at one and and a straight edge at the other. There are rivet holes and linear decoration at each end. At the straight end both corners have been cut off diagonally. The book clasp is extremely worn, but traces of two concentric rings around the rivets and further decoration at the flanged end is visible. The reverse is undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy book clasp of Howsam type A.3, the 'fishtail' type. The flared attachment end of a rectangular clasp survives, with incised and stamped decoration on the front. The clasp tapers to the break; at the other end, one corner has been broken off. There is a central rivet hole with concentric circles engraved around it, and a row of perhaps three similar holes and decoration closer to the flared end. A complete copper alloy domed thimble of the Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1550. The thimble is a domed shape, and is circular in plan. A series of circular indentations have been punched around the sides in an irregular spiral from base to top. A double-looped copper alloy buckle complete with frame and pin. The frame is D-shaped in cross-section, with a flat back and convex front. The buckle has trefoil mouldings on the outer edge of each loop. The central bar is narrowed with a knopat either end. These buckles date from circa 1550 - 1650. An incomplete copper-alloy plate brooch. The incomplete brooch has a central lozenge shaped plate with rounded corners. The two remaining points (one below the face and one on the left) of the lozenge have recessed circular projections. Other examples suggest there were propably originally four of these and they most likely contained enamel. A cylindrical lead weight.The weight tapers slightly from bottom to top. There are indistinct designs on the top and bottom faces. The top face is slightly concave and has traces of a circle with a fleur de lys inside it and a cross on the top. This design appears to have been stamped on to the weight. A copper-alloy socketed side-looped spearhead of Bronze age date. The spearhead is broken into two conjoining pieces but is otherwise well preserved. The blades are curves along the outer edges and remain sharp. There is a prominent midrib between the blades which flares towards and extends into the socket. The midrib and socket have a circular cross section. The socket is flared to the base. It retains one curved side loop, the other is broken off. Date: Middle to Late Bronze Age - c. 1200 - 800 BC Peter Reavill has identified this as dating to the Penard phase of the Bronze Age.
