A complete, lead, medieval, seal matrix, AD.1200-1450. The object comprises a circular seal matrix with a small subrectangular tab attacted to the side. The object is flat with the design and legend impressed in reverse on to the front face. The design itself is a cruciform of pointed oval petals separated in the angles by an incised line topped with three pellets. The legend on the front is clear reading, +S' WIL'I FIL' LE VEDOT. An incomplete, lead, medieval, seal matrix, AD.1200-1400. Just over half of the circular seal matrix remains, this is badly damaged and difficult to read. The centrsl design appears to have been a cruciform of pointed oval petals with an incised line separating them, only 2 are clearly visible now. A large crack, possibly the result of folding bisects the object. The legend is difficult to read with SIGIL [...] NILOLAS remaining.

An incomplete, copper alloy, Post medieval, seal matrix, AD. 1450-1700. The seal comprises an openwork quatrefoil handle and suspension loop, the larger of the loops has broken leaving only the three smaller loops below. These are supported by a long waisted neck that emerges from the back of the oval matrix. The matrix deisgn itself is a H W with a floral design emerging from between and flaring above and below the letters. The whole design is set withing a recessed border.

A fragment of a post medieval, machine pressed, silver fob seal, 18th-19th century in date, AD.1750-1900. The object comprises the suspension loop of a machine stamped silver seal frame. The loop is flanked on either side by a pointed leaf and surmounted by a circular knop. beneath the loop is a transverse ridge with the top of a scrolled column below. The piece have been stamped from silver sheet and then soldered together resulting in a slight ridge along the edges. A medieval copper-alloy seal matrix, dating to the period c.1200-1400. The matrix is shield shaped, with a flat top and converging sides which curve to meet at a point. On the reverse there is a vertical ridge, at the top of which is a suspension loop. The engraved central image on the upper surface is that of a fleur-de-lis; around this is the legend, + SIGIIL SECR CTI (sic.), meaning 'secret seal'. The object has a dark olive green patina.

A post medieval copper allor seal matrix, 17th century in date, AD.1600-1700, depicting a three masted sailing vessel under sail. The Seal matrix is oval in shape with a convex reverse from which the suspension loop emerges. The loop is attached to the top of a large lozenge shaped stem which is in turn connected to the seal matrix via a collar. Between lozenge and loop there is a narrow bar and the loop has a small knop at the apex. Length of matrix: 15.9mm Height: 27.89mm Width of matrix: 14.05mm Weight: 6.13g
